Signature Events  in Beaver Creek <a href="http://www.beavercreek.com/events-and-activities/world-cup.aspx">Audi Birds of Prey FIS World Cup </a>December 4-6, 2009 The road to Vancouver 2010 runs straight through Beaver Creek and the countdown is underway for the only stop in the United States on the men’s alpine World Cup circuit. Birds of Prey provides US fans with the best preview of Olympic contenders on their home turf. The race includes the premier event Men’s Downhill on Friday, a Super Combined event on Saturday, followed by a Giant Slalom on Sunday. Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety leads the charge along with World Cup winners Marco Sullivan and Steve Nyman who have found success at Beaver Creek. <a href="http://www.beavercreek.com/events-and-activities/snowshoe-series.aspx">Beaver Creek Snowshoe Adventure Series</a> January 10, 2010 February 7, 2010 March 7, 2010 (Jeremy Wright North American Snowshoe Championship) Participate in (or just watch) the 5K, 10K, Kids K, and Dash for Cash snowshoe races. Celebrations in Beaver Creek Village will follow the races.
