Community support has been outstanding for the Vail Valley Partnership’s (VVP) inaugural member golf tournament to be held on Thursday, May 28, at the Sonnenalp Golf Club. The “VVP Shotgun in the Sun tournament sponsored by Alpine Bank” begins at 9:00 a.m. and will be followed by a post-event reception at 1:30 p.m. at Balata restaurant. Pinnacol Assurance will sponsor the beverage cart and tee and green sponsorships have been secured by Aspen Valley Harley Davidson (also providing a new 2009 motorcycle as a hole-in-one prize), Coors, Dalby, Wendland & Co., CPAs, First Bank, Marketplace on Meadow Drive, Mountain Temps, Office Depot, Prosper Studios, Sonnenalp Resort and Spa, Symmetry Automotive, Traer Creek Plaza, LLC, Vail Daily, Vail Mountain Coffee and Tea, Vail Mountaineer and The Westside Café. Fees are $100 for members, $400 for a member foursome that includes a tee sponsorship and $200 for non-members. Space is limited.
