February 19, 2009 | | Chophouse Vail Beaver Creek | Vail, Colorado – Why only celebrate Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday when you can revel in the fun all weekend long? This year the Chophouse is the place to be for all things Mardi Gras. Starting Friday evening, February 20th, both Chophouse restaurants will kick off the celebration by offering a special Cajun-style menu featuring recipes created by Chef Michelle McRaney of Mr. B’s Bistro in New Orleans, a frequent visitor to the Vail Valley and occasional guest chef at both Chophouse locations. Both restaurants will also offer specials on Abita beers, brewed in New Orelans, and Hurricanes, the drink of choice at every Mardi Gras Celebration. All drink and menu specials will run from Friday evening, February 20th through Fat Tuesday, February 24th.
In addition to the specials offered, the Mardi Gras festivities really ramp up Saturday and Sunday as each restaurant hosts a crawfish boil Chophouse style. Stop by the Beaver Creek Chophouse on Saturday, February 21st and the Vail Chophouse on Sunday, February 22nd from 3-5pm and enjoy a heaping plate of crawfish (for only $5 a plate), refresh with an Abita beer or Hurricane, and adorn yourself with a variety of Mardi Gras beads as you take in the gorgeous mountain views and abundant sunshine offered by both Chophouse decks! | | |
