Top Off-Mountain Activities

Recommended free and family activities in the Vail Valley
The Vail Valley offers a variety of activities for children of all ages!  Recommended activities in the area include:

1.  Streetbeat Concerts (Free) - hosted throughout the ski season in Vail Village with bands including the Young Dubliners and Squirrel Nut Zippers.

2.  Thursday Night Lights (Free) - Glow stick ski down in Beaver Creek followed by fireworks.

3.  Nature at Night (Free) - Join the Gore Range Natural Science School at Adventure Ridge on Thursday and Saturday at 6pm.

4.  Family Dinner Theatre (paid event) - Join the Buckaroo Bonanza Bunch at Eagle's Nest for a family dinner theatre on select Wednesday's throughout the ski season.

5.  Adventure Ridge (paid event) - Enjoy activities ranging from Ski Biking to Tubing to Ice Skating, all at the top of Vail Mountain.

6.  Snowmobile Tours (paid) - Explore the Vail Valley backcountry on guided or self-guided tours of Camp Hale and the surrounding area.

7.  Dog Sledding (paid) - A true mountain adventure!

8.  Spa (paid) - The Vail Valley is home to a variety of world-class spas.

9.  Snowshoe Tours (free & paid) - Strap on a pair of snowshoes and explore a variety of terrain ranging from Strawberry Park in Beaver Creek to the Vail Nordic Center to summer hiking trails.
