April 17, 2009 | | Girish Nair joins Vail Valley based web company | For Prosper it has been a year of transitions: changing offices, rebranding, and identifying our core values.
Despite the excitement that comes with strengthening our workplace, it has a bittersweet ending in that our fearless Web Director, Daniel Zukowski, is returning home to California to rejuvenate himself and spend time with his family.
While Daniel will continue to work with Propser from sunny California, we will sorely miss his presence in the office. As our Web Director, he consistently rose to whatever challenge the wild world of the web threw at him, showing an incredible, comprehensive knowledge of database programing and webware.
We are thankful to have shared an office with him for this long, and to have access to his counsel and incredible skill in the future.
Daniel's commitment to the company has shown through in the last few weeks as he has been working tirelessly to train our new Web Director, Girish Nair, to become part of the Prosper team.
Although Daniel will be missed, we are thrilled to have Girish come on board. After completing his B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering, Girish came to Colorado to underake a Master's in Computer Science.
Girish has spent the past several years cutting his teeth at software giants such as Google, DoubleClick, and ESOFT and is fully proficient in C, C++, Java, PHP, Javafx 1.0, Perl, Python, ASP, ASP.Net, SQL, JSP, Install Script 8.0, and other Coldfusion languages.
As if this wasn't enough, in his spare time Girish is an avid snowboarder, karate and cricket master.
