THE TALONS CHALLENGE

23,000+ vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double-Black Diamond Runs

The Talons Challenge is a showcase of the best steeps Beaver Creek has to offer, 23,000+ vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double-Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and on the flanks of Larkspur Bowl.

Registration is FREE and skiers and riders of all ages and abilities are encouraged to test their skills and stamina. To register stop by the Talons tent at the base of Centennial Express in the main village, or ski over to Red Tail Camp. Registration will take place from 8:30am - 11am on Saturday, Jan 26.

All registrants are invited to the A' Prey' Party at the Umbrella Bar at Red Tail Camp from 2:00- 4:00pm for live music and prize giveaways. Those who complete the challenge will earn a Talons hat and lanyard, and a spot on the Talon's Wall of Fame at Red Tail Camp. Everyone who participates gets a free beverage of choice and bratwurst!

In addition to t-shirts, sweatshirts, ski and snowboard giveaways, this year one grand prize winner will recieve a roundtrip vacation package to our sister ski resort, Lech-Zurs Austria, including airfare, lift and lodging for two!
